We are very happy that the band “Giant Rooks” contributed three songs to our Tatort. The five guys should come from Great Britain, their indie sound sounds so powerful, but their hometown is Hamm in Westphalia. Their music is also described as an antidepressant cast in song form. In “Tatort: Ricochets” their songs not only connect Thewes’ tragic father figure (Milan Peschel) with his daughter Sara (Charlotte Lorenzen), but also trigger Commissioner Falke’s soft core.
“We, the Giant Rooks, grew up with the ‘Tatort’ on Sunday evening and are proud to be a very small part of this cultural asset! Thank you so much for thinking of us”.
